Munder Balanced Fund - Class A seeks growth of capital and current income. The fund allocates assets among equities, fixed-income securities, and cash. It invests at least 25% of assets in fixed-income securities. The fund examines the outlook for future returns on each asset class, inflation, interest rates, and long-term corporate earnings growth rates. Class A shares have front loads; B shares have deferred loads, higher 12b-1 fees, and conversion features; K shares are sold through institutions that have shareholder services agreements with Munder; Y shares are for institutional investors. Prior to June 28, 1995, the fund was named Ambassador Balanced Fund - Retail A Shares.
